Such an awesome guide and resource. Used this for our trip planning and it helped make it special. Having a copy of the eBook printout was helpful as we adjusted along the way. All the national parks were great and Goblin Valley was amazing and fun. There was a school fall break and we got there before 10. Parking was gone 20+ cars at visitors center on our way out.
For lodging in Torrey we stayed a Skyview Inn. Very cool spot. Hotel faced red rock walls for a great view at sunset and night skies as well. Seemed pretty new and was super clean. They also had glamping tents.

I think it would be chilly, especially at Bryce, but I'm a fan of shoulder season travel and I personally don't mind being a bit cooler when hiking, versus battling hot temperatures. In February, crowds will be relatively low, a big bonus for these two parks. We have visited Utah at the end of December and early November, and both times it was cold, and the sun set early, but it was great to tour the parks with lower crowds. And there is the chance you could see Bryce Canyon with snow, which would be amazing! As I type this, I am in California, in Klamath and exploring Redwood National and State Parks (gorgeous!), as part of a bigger road trip to Lassen Volcanic and Crater Lake. Have a great time in Utah! What are your thoughts about the end of February for a visit? We are thinking of Zion and Bryce. How are the roads? We would be driving from California. We’ve been before but would like to visit in winter. Thank you
